For this event, I wanted to create the perfect spring centerpieces that would also serve as table numbers. I was looking for something that was feminine, classic, chic, and springy. I chose to incorporate pink tulips and lemons for a classic fresh spring feel.
This project is a must for your next spring fling! See how I designed this look below. |
My favorite go-to vase is the Yankee Candle jar I re-purpose once I'm done burning the candle. These jars are perfect for decorating and storage. I use them for everything! |
Next I bought some plastic shot glasses at the dollar store for $0.50. These will hold the lemons in place in an up-right position against the glass. |
Slice all the lemons and place them in the glass jar surrounding the shot glass. |
I then purchased one roll of burlap and ribbon from Walmart to decorate the jars. Simple but chic. |
To complete this look, I included the mini-chalkboards that I re-purposed from the wine and cheese event I hosted back in March. They were the perfect final touch. |
